Blueprints for Success
Foundation

The Origin of the Blueprint
The Blueprints for Success Foundation was born out of a shared vision between Shannon Howard and Romero Gossom, two community leaders who saw the untapped potential within their neighborhoods and knew there had to be a way to build lasting change. Both deeply rooted in the skilled trades, Shannon and Romero experienced firsthand how learning a trade could open doors, create independence, and spark opportunities not only for individuals but for entire families.

Over the years, they collaborated on community events, workshops and hands-on activities that introduced young people and adults to construction, carpentry, electrical, and other skilled professions. From youth programs to women's empowerment classes, from entrepreneurial business classes to mentoring sessions, they watched participants light up with confidence as they gained new knowledge and skills. These experiences planted the seed for something bigger-a dedicated space where education, opportunity and empowerment could come together under one foundation

That seed grew into Blueprints for Success Foundation. The name itself reflects the vision: just as a builder relies on a blueprint to guide a project, people need guidance, resources, and encouragement to design their own path toward success. The Foundation was created to provide those tools-offering training in skilled trades, financial literacy, and personal development while also fostering mentorship and community connections.
